Recreational Swim Team
Philosophy
We are a recreational swim team that caters to children wishing to swim in meets while still having fun. We practice two days a week with a focus on learning the proper technique of all four competitive strokes. It is not all hard work though. We leave time for games and team activities. Parents, if you want your children to learn values such as team work and goal setting while still loving what they are doing, we might be the team for you.

Hi, my name is Leah Ramoz and I’ve been with The Swim School since April 2006. I love swimming! I learned to swim at 6 months of age and I continued swimming until I was able to try out for COSST. At age seven I started swimming competitively. I competed at the State level for 8 years. For ten years I made swimming my priority. Within those ten years I learned a great deal about the sport of swimming and how important teamwork is in this sport. I will always have the great memories of my teammates cheering for me and I want our team to have the same experience. Being a part of The Swim School’s swim team is a blast. I hope to instill the love and knowledge of fun competition with all of our swimmers.
Fun fact: Miss Leah really loves line dancing. Ask her to dance “The Cupid Shuffle”!

Hi! My name is Elaine Ramoz. I’ve been working at TSS since 2006. I swam competitively for five years for the City of Shreveport Swim Team. I also played competitive softball for twelve years. By playing sports I learned a lot about sportsmanship, goal setting and team work. On The Swim School Swim Team we instill these qualities in our kids. I love to win but our most important goal here is to have fun! I love watching our swimmers improve through out the season! I can’t wait for another record setting season this summer! We look forward to having everyone!
Fun Fact: I love to sing and dance in the car. Especially to Gloria Estefan!
A BIG WELCOME to Miss Frances! Our newest swim team coach!
